Joseph

Mary gave birth and they called the child “Jesus” as the angel had commanded them.  I like this simple picture of the event.  Here, Jesus looks like a real baby.  And here are the two, exhausted parents, with just enough adrenaline going through their system to sit there and ponder the wonder of what they have experienced through the Holy Spirit, the angel and the journey to Bethlehem.  In a way, this is just a child.  And in another way, they are gazing into the unknowable and Divine.
