This Sunday, I am preaching on my Confirmation verse! If you are not familiar with Confirmation, in my faith tradition this is when young adults (in the Jr. High range) study the basics of their faith and affirm what they believe in a public rite at church. A Bible verse is chosen and said over the Confirmad as they receive the rite.
I invite you to join the conversation about how we stay rooted in our faith despite the worldly philosophies around us that want to compete for our faith and then how once we are rooted, we grow by God's grace!
Each week, there is a study of Paul's letter to the Colossians that happens by the kitchen at 9 (just follow the smell of coffee) followed by worship at 10! This week, C2W (Created 2 Worship) offers their now annual "Revival Service" featuring a lot of old time spirituals.
